Description

Water Rose (Samolus floribundus) is an attractive aquatic plant known for its compact, rosette-style growth and bright green, slightly rounded leaves. Its tidy shape adds lush texture to freshwater aquariums. It makes a great feature in the foreground or midground, where it also gives small fish and shrimp natural cover.

This plant comes in a 5 cm mesh pot, ready to plant. It’s low-maintenance once settled and does best in stable, well-lit tanks with a nutrient-rich substrate.

How to Use

Gently remove the plant from the mesh pot and remove any rock wool from the roots.
Plant it in the substrate, burying the roots but keeping the base of the rosette (the crown) above the substrate.
Plant several in a group for a fuller effect.
Provide moderate to high lighting and add root tabs or liquid fertiliser occasionally.

Please note: Some leaves may die back as the plant adjusts to a new tank. This is normal, and new leaves will grow in. Never release aquarium plants into waterways or drains.
