The VIV Glass Lily Pipe Inflow is a clear glass intake pipe for canister filters, designed for planted aquariums and aquascapes. Made from handcrafted, transparent glass, it replaces bulky plastic filter intakes with a sleek, minimal look that keeps the focus on your plants and hardscape.
The pipe hooks over the edge of the tank and draws water down into your canister filter. It comes in two diameters, 13 mm and 17 mm, to suit different filter setups.

How to Use
- Choose the pipe size that matches your canister filter’s intake hose.
- Hang the pipe over the back or side of the tank, with the intake end sitting low in the water.
- Connect the filter’s intake hose securely to the top of the pipe.
- Prime and start your canister filter as directed by the filter’s instructions.
Tip: Clean glass lily pipes regularly with a pipe brush to keep them crystal clear. Algae and biofilm build up inside over time and can also reduce flow.
Please note: Glass is fragile, so handle with care, especially when connecting hoses or cleaning. Canister filter and hoses are sold separately. In tanks with shrimp or small fry, consider an intake sponge or guard to stop them being drawn into the filter.
